My train trip, the first since I was a teenager, some progress as I no longer have to ride in the guards van, but still a way to go. Shot with my GoPro mounted on my tray.
people should be made to move there bike when people park bike in mobility bay is so wrong and inconsiderate

Thank you, it makes train travel a risk, I really don't want to be sitting between carriages next to the toilet on train journeys

Back in the day bicycles went in the guards van, far more civilised than carrying muddy bikes in the passenger accommodation.

@@gtyit7fgugtyi Any specific part of the video? Life for disabled people often is. They just have to make the best of it I’m afraid. The day all train stations are step-free is a very long way off - if ever.

on the first train, what was occupying the wheelchair space?! also: HSTs with Mark 3 carriages often won't take wheelchairs over 67 wide, as opposed to 70cm for later trains. annoyingly.

It was full of bikes, there was no offer to move them or apology, it's really frustrating that things aren't easier, I would be happy to regularly use the train otherwise, although as I need a carer with me full time it would cost double :/

150101 was with First Great Western, renamed Great Western Railway 🚃 from September 2015, stayed with the operator until around late ⏰ 2018, then it went to Northern Rail now wearing the 2nd Northern Rail livery and refurbished. The lavatory conveys a lavatory 🚻🚺🚹 🚽. All accommodation is standard class only and non-smoking 🚭.

You sir are n incredibly lucky human. Most of railways are electrified rubbish now. To travel on a Class 150 and a HST is a wonderful privilege that many don’t realise how lovely these units really are. The HST still holds the world record for the fastest diesel at well over 140mph 40 years into their service. The class 150 is old, slow, noisy, has tread breaks as opposed to disc brakes, that brake rub sound you get as it’s slowing down is just fabulous. Just a fantastic experience. I love travelling on both. Very very lucky indeed. Enjoy the rest of your lovely train journeys. :)

Depends,. A spacious Javelin that actually speeds into London at 140mph is a joy. A Thameslink tin can with hard seats stopping everywhere is torture, but is pure luxury compared with a Pacer. Nothing is better than first class on a steam train working hard on the mainline, but you need to take out a mortgage to buy a ticket and it will probably break down.

@@James-bp7uc yes exactly. The true essence of 80s and 90s British diesels. You cannot beat them !!
