(I recommend headphones to truly hear this baby sing)
Out with a friend of mine on his '08 1098-R on a balmy Sunday afternoon. We just had a big storm pass through the Bay Area, so the roads are moist in areas and littered with dead pine-needles that are arguably the most slippery thing next to an oil slick... That didn't stop us today! See my other video of the first section of this ride, Woodside to La Honda. [ • Onboard Ducati Streetf... ]
Video was shot with GoPro 3 Black in 1080/30fps.
Audio was recorded with a AKG-D112 microphone into a Zoom H1 audio recorder at 48kHz/24bit. Mic is held in an external neoprene pocket (for water bottle) in my backpack, pointed at the cans.
I use GoPro Cineform studio to convert the raw MP4 files to HQ AVI (biiiiig files) and then import those into Adobe Premiere Elements 10 where I do my post-editing and sync the external audio (WAV) to what was captured on the GoPro. GP3 aux in is better sounding than GP2, but still can't hold a candle to this...
