That just feels like a stunning journey , traveling on the line to Kyle Of Lochalsh on a HST train.

In case anyone is interested, the hill with it's head in the clouds as you zoom in at 30:15 is called Fuar Tholl. It roughly translates as peak of the hollow. Thanks for the vlog. Excellent trip from my armchair as get over flu and third covid jabs.

Thank you for sharing your great adventure into Scotland, it is great to see a rail-tour going to the Kyle of Lochalsh given the number of times the line was under the threat of closure. Usually when I go north of the border on a train, there is usually someone on board with a set of pipes. Clearly someone has forgotten to tell Midland Pullman about the obligatory onboard piper!

Thank you so much for posting this video. It is so good. 😀 I was on the train for this wonderful three days in Pullman class and this video has brought back so many memories including the vauxhall chase and people with cameras everywhere.😀

Really enjoyed watching the set of videos of the tour. The Midland Pullman HST looks every bit as good on the inside as what we saw on the outside. Even spotted myself on the footbridge at Clachnaharry filming you filming me as you passed 😄

Fantastic video, thank you. First HST on the Kyle line is a historic occasion isn’t it? 21.25 Shout out for Jane and Calum McKenzie at “Off The Rails” at Plockton Station. If you love the Highlands and you love railways this is just the best holiday accommodation. We stayed there again in May this year and had a lovely week. Did the Inverness run both by car and train and it never fails to deliver. TonyS

The beautiful Scottish scenery. And great, catching the Caledonian Sleeper at Inverness. But it’s the sound of the power cars that brought back happy new pries for me. And not forgetting those ex GWR 1st class interiors. No such thing anymore down here.

We were in Kyle the next day. The station is looking very run down sadly. Ticket office closed (hopefully temporarily), museum and restaurant closed and the canopies desperately need a coat or two of paint. Sad covid times. It will recover!! You got the best of the weather; it was absolutely belting down all the way from Lancashire to Aviemore that day!

They're not still blaming civid are they? If their tourist industry is suffering they should blame their leader Empress Sturgeon. England has had a bumper summer

What a lovely trip. I am surprised you were allowed to film out of open windows on health & safety grounds. Other tour firms have banned thus.

Just wondering isn't there hot food or anything served on the Pullman. Is it just one snackbox?

Yeah there is full Pullman dining. Which consists of a full 3 course freshly cooked meals & alcohol. I was in First Class, not Pullman dining.

They’re first class carriages & seating. These were the cheap seats, compared to the Pullman dining cars
