I still get chills watching this performance and hearing this closing number to “A Chorus Line,” my favorite play. I was a trained dancer and know the thrill of performance. This Tony award winning play is dedicated to “Anyone who has ever danced a step.” It is enthralling, and for the few who never saw it, I encourage you to seek it out. Due to its sheer excellence, it is always playing somewhere in the world. RIP, Marvin Hamlisch and Michael Bennett.🎶❤️🎶

Like myself and Cathy said. We're dancer's. We bleed sweet and tears. We made it look easy but we know it was insanely hard. We had a cold but when the curtains came up? We were well happy to make other's smile and enjoy each move in every single play we did. They art's the stage is the most powerful honest place anyone can attend or participate in. I'd breaks my heart to think was the curtain coming down during the beginning of this pandemic... really all of our last curtain call? If it was... I'm extremely grateful from 8 years old to 51 I got to meet train with icons and I miss all the Theater attendees so much. Theater attendees are very special people, there a whole different level of people personalities and they are the best fans in the world. Ah- ready set and a 1-2-3-4! Again! And there's no take 100 if you mess up you better make sure it look's as if it's supposed to be in the Choreography or else. We miss you all dearly. Cathy I hear Streisand singing HEY LOOK AT ME WORLD! (HERE I AM) HERE WE ARE! We hope many of you have been able to attend one musical play. The screen is nice, but the stage? That's when you know you did it. Everyone stay safe, a group of amazing performers made a video of the Westside of England and it was the saddest thing I'd seen. However there song with masks there dancing through all of the empty streets of closed plays really inspired me. Cathy you will be moved like never before. From all of us to all who love the theater's no we love you all and miss you all dearly. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of your lives. ZEN ❤🎼🩰🎭👯♂️👯♀️🙋♀️

I have HUGE admiration & respect for dancers. I began to understand, in my "old" age, that dancers can see a routine or series of steps/movements and pretty much repeat them while musicians can hear a tune/melody and repeat it. Did I get it right? Don't know why I didn't understand this 50 years ago.

@Cindy Klenk I was in it as well never allowed to use my name in any contracts my mom made sure of it. I also traveled and was the youngest 17. Training with icons. My Madame is a very famous illustrator, grandfather jewelry icon his office was above sakes. Miss my late agent and Fosse as well as the rest of them. I'm also supposed to be dead in art history and I'm very private but very much alive. I was adopted as a 6 month old. My biological father music icon as well as mother. Miss violet head of the best line in the world. Stay safe right now I'm basically battling cancer that was in my ankle. Again I'm pretty private. I'd die before I voted for Trump. I had Covid-19 from January until May died 4 time's. How dare this happen to anyone. I can't believe any of them using our lives. I refuse to participate in hate or negative vibes. Our country has become one big FEMA camp. I can also say I'm very proud of being a humanitarian. This is byhond unexplainable. I don't run my fb or anything social media. I was just informed of this comment and asked to respond. Broadway has been home from 8 years old until I got sick. I can't wait until touring resumes. Stay safe. My agent would yell at my father saying if ever light went out on Broadway your daughter would be the only one blub fighting to stay lite. Yes you and I understand how awful it is. What's a hug 😔 I remember being sick and exhausted training until I made myself cry bleed. I can't believe what's happening... I find myself often thinking with tears in my eye's, were all of us to date the last? 😢 💔 😔. I'm sure we meet in passing. I cry thinking that the curtain will never come up again. I'd love to live in that hole any hole in the wall above one of our stages. Were just really lucky, but than I cry missing Bob fosse for taking me under his wing as a child. I'm not sure people really understand to us that's home Cathy. I'd love to sneak inside one and just cry on the stage 😢 😭. People like us understand it was our outlet. People really don't understand us. I'm really happy you wrote it made me stop crying for a bit. I'm not sure what to make of this nightmare but it's wrong on every level of the word. I can't believe how many we lost in our country, I can't believe how many people we lost 💔 😔 in our lives industry. This is like the scene in Beaches, stay safe and in touch Cathy. This is honestly killing me. Hope they say have hope? Forget the holidays there canceled in my life. But if I ever had to get arrested? I'm ready to now just so I can blast Streisand and the second one can beauty come out of ashes. I can't believe how many people have passed away. As you and I know one is to many. I've gone through my savings and I've been thinking about selling everything and once we can travel leave the country and never return. It's really nice to hear from you a person who understands exactly what I'm feeling. Pleased to meet you even if under such awful circumstances. All my love 💓 to you I really think we could find a way inside one of those theaters. Love it and it'd be worth it.

The phone rings we looked at each other ( thinking oh no Huston there's a problem at MTV, or on a tour, or did I miss a show?). My mom said as we listened through the wall our heads to it , Bob Im leaving I sold everything yes - yes The peace Crop . Oh Bob,------ will be so excited. I can't believe I will not be there now, you know her father his wife feeling never has he seen her work! Yes, yes Bob I know you almost nailed him flat out. Bob truly Congratulations on your opening tonight in Washington. One moment I think you should tell your little shadow Bob, she's here with her husband. ( sadly my husbands I lost two by 27. Cathy pls don't say you're sorry. It's been long ago and well....? It's ok, but it isn't.) Husband what was she thinking getting married at 18 in her last year of high school? He's am amazing kid himself discovered accidentally by Less Paul Helen I have to leave shortly .... The absolute power to perform a song from A Chorus Line, a musical that is largely about the gay experience and the feeling of being “other” in Reagan’s White House is unmatched! I’m sure many of the dancers, who most likely lost many loved ones to the AIDS epidemic, must’ve felt a feeling of catharsis in this performance. Absolutely amazing!

In the full production, the character of Paul leaves the stage early, Zach is only onstage very briefly a little more than halfway through, and Larry is never on stage, so they're the first three onstage for the finale. The women have plenty of time to change because the men do the entire first verse alone. The men who don't make the 'cut' probably come out after Paul, Zach and Larry, then the men who do. It still calls for a heck of a quick change. They must have had extra wardrobe staff to help with that.
