Dear Peter! We walked in a very wonderful, peaceful, quiet place. The distant ringing of bells made the walk even more special. In the small street, the red brick houses with their special decorations are like a fairy tale world! They are eye-catching! Is the street sign on a bicycle? Fantastic solution! I saw where the buses sleep! The Grand Canal Dock is always an impressive sight with its colorful and varied buildings. I really enjoyed the walk! Thanks for the experience as always!

Dear Susan. Thanks so much for walking along with me through some of the quieter streets of Dublin. I was lucky to capture the distant ringing of the church bells and especially the rows of redbrick houses. The street sign on the bicycle was so nice and we finally got to see where all the buses come from! So happy you enjoyed all the sights on today's walk. Have a lovely evening. Peter☘

Sadly, that white bicycle on the street sign looks to be a ghost bike. Ghost bikes are memorials placed by the cycling community at places where a cyclist was killed by an automobile.

Great walk, Peter. I loved seeing some neighborhoods I haven't seen before. Loved those brick houses in South Dock. What time of day was this? The docklands were livelier than I'm used to seeing.

Hi Eric. Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the area, I really like those brick houses to. It was about 6pm when I reached the dock area so there were lots of people out after work. Have a great day☘️ Peter.

Delightful tour. Thank you. This Canal Quay is unrecognisable to me as I hadn’t realised all the changes. I now live in New Zealand and haven’t visited Dublin in 8 years. The big trees are so beautiful. Thank you again. I enjoyed the visit albeit virtual. Brought back so many memories as I was raised in Clonskeagh and Ballsbridge is only 10 minutes away. 🙏☺️
