Susukino is a major red-light district and entertainment hub located in the Chuo-ku area of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It is one of the largest red-light districts in Japan, alongside Kabukicho in Tokyo and Nakasu in Fukuoka. The district is densely packed with restaurants, bars, hotels, and adult entertainment establishments.
One of the most iconic landmarks in Susukino is the Susukino Crossing, a major intersection adorned with neon signs and illuminated advertisements. The Nikka sign, featuring the "King of Blenders" logo, is particularly famous. During the Sapporo Snow Festival held annually in February, ice sculptures line the streets of Susukino as part of the Susukino Ice Festival.
