First mistake is buying a brand new car that you have monthly payments on for Turo. As a Turo host for the last two years . The only time I would recommend being a Turo host is from July to October. All the other months you’ll be lucky if you break even on car payments . But it’s not worth it because the chips scratches and little bit of damage that the guest does to your vehicle . One thing I can guarantee is that your car in another 14 months is not even gonna look the same … anyway, good luck I know personally 100% once all my rentals are done for this year because yes, I am booked up until November. I am done with being a host and I’m possibly going to sell the car because the value of the car is definitely not worth what I paid for after putting on Turo…

This July to November is market/vehicle dependant... Approaching my 2nd yr on the platform and February was my best month '16 Macan S '22 Frontier '21 Wrangler (Sahara) It is a big challenge to keep all cylinders firing effectively over the entire year; with that I do agree. No major scratches or dents yet. But all my rides get rented >$100/day. And I do offer airport delivery; which is a total time suck😢 Denver/Boulder market

Will do. This is my next step. Honestly I should have set up the LLC 1st. I've talked with my tax advisor about the new business and the plan is to write off everything. I will make a video once I get it set up. Thanks for sending me this request. This will make me get off my butt and get it done! The car is still renting!

What I do not understand about Turo is, that it is more expensive than regular car rental. Avis for example, you get points to add up and you get 10% back on Amazon gift cards. A brand new a car and no stress. Turo has many banged up cars

I used USAA (personal), but I plan to switch to Travelers or some other company. TURO requires you to get insurance through them prior to any trips!
