If you can ever lay your hands on the Leatherman ratchet extension it’s a must have. So Holy Grail that whenever they drop, they sell out by the thousands within hours. Have one of those gator bits with the 1/4 inch sockets for my impact driver, I can use with it instead. Both those lights seem cool, I can see them as useful and compact.

I bought one when they were first released and my younger brother hasn’t been able to get one for almost a year now. I almost want to gift it to him and wait to get one for myself but I use it so much and love it. So weird they wouldn’t make a ton more seeing they sell out constantly

Great video, I always enjoy these! I keep looking at the tripod stand, the wallet version looks useful. The wallet is similar to the Open Sea Topsider except the stitching is on the bottom side which helps keep the vertical profile smaller.

Just looked up the topsider, definitely similar design! Both are a little more than I need in terms of capacity but I was really impressed with the quality. You’ll love that tripod though if you think you’ll use it, comes in handy so often for me.

I’d love to see a Leatherman build video. I have a Surge in my car and know I’m underutilizing it a ton. I know that there are cooler pouches and tools/mods that can done. Would be a must-watch for me if you do a deep dive.

so many storage in hat ideas out lately but so many take their hats off and forget them, or the wind takes it off, and some places you gotta take it off to go into. only way i could see one working is perhaps a Stetson or boonie hat using a strap down around the chin to prevent it from blowing off, and to be able to take it off and let it hang around your neck from the strap. also very uncomfortable to use those straps sadly.
@joshfenn

Yeah it’s definitely a risk if you’re in a situation where you could lose your hat. Great to have an alternative though, even if it’s a bit more niche than just using your pants pockets.
