Hi Mis Josey, watching from the Southern Cameroons, i felt in love with the choir that usually sings during Uganda Martyrs day Celebrations . Lots of familiarities to my village and culture , my country is also at war and i really thank Uganda for hosting refugees because i understand the pain of being one, the pain of lossing your home, lively hood and even love ones because of war. Uganda is a mighty giant if not for bad leadership or let me say leadership that losts its direction along the way, Uganda could have been a force to reckon with in the world. Its worth knowing that Rwanda owes her freedom today to Rwanda ( those who can look deep will figure this out)...

My home is at the periphery of that refugeese camp.initially locals illegally occupied that settlement camp land thinking it would never be put to use again only in 2012 to be forced out but to the local people that camp been a blessing in disguise it has boosted trade around that Rwamwanja town that used to be a microtrading centre after the departure of the 1994 Rwandese refugeese

Uganda is rated as the best place for refugees because it does not restrict their movement and also provide land for use. Refugees do not have to live in the camps. I dont understand why locals will occupy the land. Do they not have historical land rights in the country? Im trying to figure out if it is greed or landless
