I agree, but it’s not every super hero. The one to that really gets me is when Superman is dying, and instead of taking on a huge threat, he just saves a girl about to take her own life by reaching out and talking. That one hit hard But that’s not every hero that can do that. Ace and Bruce in the DCAU is a good example of when it works. But that’s not something Thor, Captain Marvel or Strange can really do. That’s why Spider Man is so important

Reminds me of my favorite SM story from Spider Man Adventures. The Sinister Six (minus one) attack Spidey, claiming he already captured Vulture, who in fact, is off sulking. Earlier he'd attempted to mug Aunt May, snatching her purse. She yells at him that he's the reason people have a bad impression of NYC, a city she's lived in her entire life, and should be ashamed. He's surprised to find himself deeply hurt by this, and doesn't link up with the Sinister Six after. Later, after Spider Man defeats them, he heads home. Peter Parker answers their door to find Vulture, frowning. He explains that he found their address in May's purse, apologizing. "Tell the old woman-tell her New York is the greatest city on Earth " and handing Peter the purse, flies away. With a smirk, he wonders if maybe someone like the Vulture, has some good in him still.

Peter Parker's biggest superpower is his heart, kindness, and compassion. It's not a sad story, it's a story of never giving up hope and always being kind to those who deserve it. That's the moral of the story, seems some missed that.

“Fun” fact: Disney wouldn’t let a family put either a picture of Spider-Man or his emblem on the Tombstone of a a child who I believe passed away from a terminal illness. Disney said they didn’t want the character to be associated with death or some bs and offered the family a portrait of they’re son and Spider-Man as a alternative *Sony owns the movie rights to Spider-Man but merchandising and everything else is still controlled/owned by Disney since they own the Marvel brand as a whole*

I love how out of all the superheroes out there, only Spider-Man gives time to do stuff like this. While the rest are too busy fighting galactic threats and whatnot, Peter's here trying to make a kid smile. Very few heroes do that, be it DC or Marvel. It's one of the things that makes Spider-Man unique. He really does feel like your friendly neighborhood hero. It really fits his character

Damn. I thought this was going to mention that one comic where a homeless girl, a SpiderMan fan, was dreaming about being saved by Spidey, but unfortunately she was dying due to kidney & liver failure. Spidey did bring her to a hospital, but the doctor said nothing can be done. And that was a rough one. Spidey said he mustve swung past that alley hundreds of time, and if only he saved her sooner. Seriously, that is rough because even these heroes cant be everywhere & save everyone. This one definitely takes that comic's sad crown. But there's probably a Spider-Bite in the SpiderVerse somewhere.
