ONE OK ROCK is amazing, Taka's vocal abilities are absolutely top tier.💜 I'd suggest "We Are" or "Cry Out" from their Ambitions Tour. Watch out for copyright, though, Japanese labels are notorious for blocking creators, especially for live performances.

These guys go all out regardless of their audience size. They're so amazing live. I was at this show near the back and their energy reaches every corner of the venue. This was at Tokyo Dome which is a baseball venue. Really big. Watch them live outside Asia at a more intimate venue though and they'll still bring the same energy. Check out "The Beginning" at Eye of the Storm Japan Tour and "Mighty Long Fall" at 35xxxv Japan Tour. "Make It Out Alive" at 1CHANCE FESTIVAL shows you how they can control the crowd at a Japanese festival (they were not the main act).

Thank you so much for reacting to ONE OK ROCK! I always get so happy when I see people react to them, because they deserve so much love, appreciation and recognition. ONE OK ROCK are huge in Japan and internationally. They easily fill out the Dome Arenas in Japan. Their concerts are an amazing experience. The whole band are so kind to their fans and appreciative towards them. I hope you'll dive into more of their music/live stages - I promise you guys will like their music ~

I’ve been a fan of One Ok Rock for about 14 years, and because of them I got to find more asian artists, and of course I ended up being an ARMY! OOR is amazing, and I got to seehem live just once in a small venue, but what a powerful performance! Check out the live version of Wasted Nights! One of my faves!

Please listen to the video of make it out alive from the 1chance festival where they performed and the Adele's hello covered by Taka, the vocalist. It is hard to believe that it is really the same person singing, but he sings in such a different way. He can sing both rock and ballads well. Please give it a listen.

Saw them in Chicago in Oct 2022 at a 1500 capacity venue busting at the seams. It was cool to be so close, but it was a shame knowing they could have sold out a much bigger venue even in a multi stop US tour. It's a dream of mine to see them in a big arena as well. Taka can melt my face off any day! Their songs always give me chills. Stand Out Fit In is probably my fave I haven't seen in the comment section much.

OOR has been around since 2005. The guys are only 35yo. Taka's voice and lyrics blow my mind with every song. Tomo on drums if you watch a few of their clips gives his all to every song Toru is a magician with a guitar...and that smile 😏 he has. In Yume Yume he even does a rap section to the song. Ryota on bass is an absolute legend 🤘🏼 If you have time, watch their performance at the 1Chance Festival. The crowds reaction to them from about halfway through will blow you away! Us One OK Rock fans are called 'OORers' 🤘🏼😁 (Im also a Black Rose) Yes all the guys are multi instrumental and also sing, however Taka is the main vocalist

One OK Rock have been around for close to 20 years. They got together when Taka (the lead singer) was a teenager and started releasing songs around 2005/2006. Before he joined OOR, Taka was actually a J-pop idol. RENEGADES was written in partnership with singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, and it was the outro / ending credits song for a martial arts movie called Rurouni Kenshin: The Final. There are several Rurouni Kenshin movies, and that was the last one in the series. Here's the trailer for Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, if you're interested. (But if you're going to watch the movies, watch them in order so you understand the story line.) kzitem.info/news/bejne/xnd3l456jHWInX4 And if you need a lyrics video for RENEGADES, this fan-made one is my favorite: kzitem.info/news/bejne/maiBqJqHqpqqa5w -------------------------------------------------- A few other excellent OOR songs: DEEPER DEEPER kzitem.info/news/bejne/soyKrINnsKVehoo MIGHTY LONG FALL kzitem.info/news/bejne/ym2py6OwhaiTe6w TAKING OFF kzitem.info/news/bejne/2myp3a2HcpR3aqw (^^^^ this is an acoustic studio version of their rock song.)

Ik someone already mentioned in the comments that the venue is Tokyo Dome, but I needed to comment to provide additonal context. Generally speaking, arenas are significantly smaller sized venues that hold between 10-20k attendees thereabouts. Some larger international arenas may go up to 30k. Domes in Japan are basically covered stadiums and hold a much, much larger audience, up to 50,000 or 60,000 people at one time, even 70,000 iirc. The larger ones anyways, which is what Tokyo Dome is. So calling it an arena kind of downplays how large of a venue it really is and also underestimates the size of the audience as well. Ik you didnt do it on purpose ofc and enjoyed your reaction.

As a fellow ARMY, I'd recommend ONE OK ROCK to you any day of the week; they are thematically very similar to BTS. It's okay if you don't enjoy heavy rock, their slower songs would be right up a BTS fan's alley. Taka truly is a vocal powerhouse.💜 Try Stand Out Fit In, Change, We Are, These Tears Are Mine, Heartache and Take What You Want if you're curious. :)
