Sam, I cooked supper for my parents for Easter, and I just want to thank you for giving me the skills to do it. I reverse seared a thick pork chop and grilled vegetables and they were blown away. I think I practiced at home enough to feel confident to do it for other people (and cooking without a recipe). God Bless buddy :)

My wife and stepkids thought I was some kind of wizard when they discovered I could cook things they thought they didn't like in ways they did like. It really seems to be an easily acquirable superpower these days. Sam is going a long way toward making it a more common superpower and we NEED that.

For real. Especially cutting with the grain instead of against it. Or complaining about how a medium steak that's really juicy is still bloody. Apparently they've never seen blood before.

You have to know how to cook a well-done steak. For this recipe simply cover and allow to simmer longer on top of the stove or in the oven. I'd add onions, red/green peppers in mine!

I invented the 30 minute meal back in the 90s when I was working multiple jobs. I dubbed myself "The Queen of Quick" and as long as the kids remembered to defrost some meat, I could put an entire, nutritious meal on the table in 30 minutes or less. We watched the One Pan Steak Dinner video on KZitem yesterday and my husband HAD to have it for dinner today. I added mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus, and it was still only about 1/2 hour start to finish. So yummy!
