Hi 👋 to the Master chef Mr. Jami Oliver from: canada 🇨🇦 You are amazing 👏 ❤ 💖 I am a 63 year old grandmother 👵 I have been trying your recipes for nearly 3 decades. Everything that you used was fresh and gorgeous 😍. God bless my daughter, s soul 🙏 Najla💌 she watched the tapes with me after she came back home from school and tried helping me making your wonderful 👏 ❤ recipes. 🌷🌺🌻💐🌾🌿 God be with you and your loved ones. I made this in less than 30 mins! Have lost your branded mortar and pestle though since I moved so used a thermomix which makes it quicker. When are you going to use the thermomix in your methods of cooking?

The bending asparagus thing to avoid the woody part has been proven many times to not work. It totally depends on where you hold it when you bend it.
@ebisu8824
Жыл бұрын
Hold it on the ends like a person with at least a small bit of common sense at it will be "proven" to work 100% of the time.
@wickywills
Жыл бұрын
@@ebisu8824 False, it does not work 100% of the time, and you lose a decent amount of asparagus, plus it's time consuming since you can't snap them in bunches otherwise you lose even more. Just get a knife and trim at the point between green and white. THAT works 100% of the time.
@ebisu8824

@@wickywills True, it works 100% of the time. THAT is why you don't need a knife.

As usual the dish looks exquisite. I'll give this a try minus the asparagus, which doesn't go with tomato on my palate. Zucchini, I think, would work well here.

Thanks for another recipe, Jamie. The way the pesto is balanced there on the asparagus looks precarious. Is it a problem if it falls off into the sauce? It's bound to when you've eaten a couple of the asparagi.
