I made this tonight, and it is sooooo delicious! The whole family loved it, and even I couldn't stop eating. I halved the cayenne pepper in my cajun seasoning and put in no red pepper flakes. This really helps for people who don't enjoy spice.

Made it and it turned out REALLY yummy. Fot those somewhat sensitive to spice and strong herbs, I used only a tbsp and a half of the cajun seasoning, but the whole tsp of thyme. I liked it, but one person in my family thought half a tsp would have been sufficient.

Delicious easy recipe, especially for a student like myself who doesn't have a lot of time for cooking. Cant believe it took me so long to try it, I personally used frankfurter hot dogs instead of kielbasa sausage.

Does one-pot count if you are using another container to dump things into after they are done cooking? I thought one-pot was to describe a dish you can make all int he same pot...
@lesterordinado9432

Why do you use sometimes butter, sometimes olive oil, sometimes vegetable oil ...? What's the criterion?
@RobinOrzo
8 жыл бұрын
They all have different flavor profiles, butter gives a more nutty rich flavor and is more decadent, olive oil is technically better for you, it's not good for high heat cooking though unless you mix it with something like butter otherwise it'll burn, vegetable oil is neutral and flavorless, ideal for frying or high heat cooking since it has a low smoke point.

I asked because there was a Martha Stewart recipe a couple of years ago that was all the rage on Pinterest and it was called one-pot pasta, where you cooked everything in one pot (over the stove, no crock pot) at the same time. I thought it was a thing lol but I guess not.
