A lady I very briefly dated..but knew years ago, I sent her your videos while we were dating too. But yeah, she was like that with her ex...then me as well. I kicked her to the curb with the quickness. Thats my deal-breaker. FR

Absolutely. I dated a guy whose ex-wife pulled a gun on him then tried to get him put in jail.

I agree with@yvetteJones6196, this is really sad I know several women that abuse men verbally, I was in a toxic relationship yet when I began to lash back out verbally, then both of us were lashing out. I prayed to God to keep me strengthen enough that I could walk away and get out and I did, after 26 years I prayed because we both had killed the respect & love for each other, we now have been away from each other for 12 yrs. I knew I wasn't going to be able to treat him nice as we continued to age. Sometimes the only fix even after you get to the root of it, is just to forgive each other and walk away for good...

I work in a Psychiatric Clinic. Yes the vast majority of domestic violence is committed by men. However there are instances where women abuse men and women abuse each other at work and in same sex relationships. Domestic violence on men by women is often unreported due to the shame associated with this. Excessive verbal abuse, yelling, threats, economic abuse (overspending as a form of punishment) are all forms of abuse. We too often get our relationship advice from Housewives of Atlanta or some TikTok videos but without mutual respect, healthy communication and understanding; our relationships are in serious trouble.

I never thought of overspending as abuse but you’re right. It’s the same as when men withhold money as a form of financial abuse. I’m glad you mentioned it bc women do it a lot & it’s advocated for in songs.

@@nappyfriesyes, so true - that part of men withholding money really resonates with me because my ex bf(we lived together for 2 years)did it...he knew my situation money wise and otherwise,, my income and my struggle . Yet he would only ever loan me money never give it,and only if I asked... which I never did. He wanted 50/50 and I agreed because he is Dutch and I am from Eastern Europe and he made some hints about people from my Region...My pride never allowed me to ask him for nothing otherwise I felt he judge me as gold digger and look at me , very cautious, thinking that I'm with him to use him. sad. I could never prove my worth to him...now, he has moved on , have new gf already for several months tho we broke up like 6 months ago, he wanted it, now living his best life with Dutch woman who is worthy in his eyes ..I'm still in shambles....so far for a gold digging user - who has shallow feelings..how ironic - he was projecting his own heart.

I am a talker. I like to communicate, because I grew up around verbal fighting and physical fighting between the genders; have experienced such within my own gender towards me. I dont condone bullying of any kind! Male or female. I pray for strength and wisdom to leave situations and people, that arent for me.

Both parties need to be respectful. Whem its one sided that causes problems. Talking things out instead of yelling or name calling.

Disagree. Disrespect is not sex exclusive. It's poor character...which both men & women sometimes have...certain men & women.

@@jayc5756 either way you put it "character or a man or woman" it still creates a negative atmosphere for both parties involved.
