When I started getting into shooting action sports in cold places like Iceland and Norway I always wanted to look for what photographers shooting the olympics did and what gear they used for inspiration, I looked all over from KZitem to blog posts etc... but this is everything and more then I could have asked for, hearing what goes behind all the incredible olympics shots, the amount of people working to get the photo out of the camera and out online in minutes is insane, such an incredible video!

If you can't go to tokyo 2020 as a photographer apply to be one of the press operation staff, even as a volunteer. Trust me, the experience is umbelievable.

I used to take a photos of bike racing with my Nikon D3400 and AFP 70-300 4.5 lens at Mizoram, one of the smallest state in Indian North East region. I'm so inspired by this video, and the works to photographers... And their gear...

How does one get into a field like that? I've shot at racetracks and basic events as an amateur, but I want to go pro.
@Eagle1349

You would need a media outlet or wire service to hire you to shoot for them. This is a short answer to a complicated deal!
