I enjoyed this video! My dad was Ghanaian (Rest his soul). My first time in Ghana was complete shock. It was definitely hot (I went in March). Getting off the plane you feel a rush of heat! I missed American food after a few days the first time that I went. After my second visit, I was CRAVING Ghanaian food when I came back lol but life and the culture there are so BEAUTIFUL!! I will always visit and go back!

Really great video, funny too. When I first came to Ghana I ate rice everyday too, but I do love jollof but not enough to eat everyday. You are right the people there are so kind and I ended up having a great time. I ended up coming back 7 months later. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your stay. I will be going back next year and really looking forward to it but not the long flight from the U.S..

The things u find irritating is what makes Ghana different from where you come from.why do u travel if u don't like change. The adventure of travelling lies in the change u experience.Im surprised your initial impressions are all negative, like you were forced . Ok I get it ,it was your dad's idea!!!

Pabby Nana, You focused on the negative. I, an African American, focused on the positive AND the negative. She became aware that Ghana was different than the United States, and she liked the culture. So, that's fair.

It's clear she did not like her experience . speaking about seeing goats on the streets and all as if we have nothing like that in the US or elsewhere. My thing is if you are coming to Ghana leave your romanticized views at home or better yet don't come. simple as that. Yes we have goats and and domestic dogs walking the streets. that's just the way it is but you also have squirrels, stray cats, rats etc. on the streets of many cities in America
