The OnePlus is all about performance, and having the latest hardware with much affordable price. Pixel on the other hand is all about the camera, software and AI, Google has never been a hardware focused company, and it's not going to change any time soon. If you want the top of the line spec sheet (minus some compromises here and there) with affordable price you go for OnePlus, if you want the all-in-one phone, hardware and software wise (albeit slightly pricier) you go for Samsung Galaxy series, if you want the best point-and-shoot camera with advanced AI, fast updates but lesser hardware you go for the Pixel. This is the beauty of android - choice.

Especially with wide mats and pads that can accommodate multiple devices, you can just toss your phone, watch, tablet, and whatever else down and pick it back up whenever. I don't get wireless charging. The pad itself is still connected to a wire. You place it down and then you can't use it anymore while charging. It's extremely slow. Like extremely. It's just a step backwards for charging imo. I'll never ever use it unless they make it super fast. And I'll only be using it to charge overnight.

Once the space issue has been solved, we'll start to see much better games.

But the OP7 is different from the OP7P; the OP7 is a slightly rehashed 6T with minor modifications and hasn’t been announced for other markets yet, where 3a is already widely available. The OP7P is a winner in every regard, but until we get the OP7 in other markets, the 3a may still be a better value proposition for us.

Reread my response - I never mentioned the camera. I said (and will say, again) that until other markets get the more affordable OnePlus 7, the Pixel 3a will be one of the best value contenders. Markets like the United States are not getting the OnePlus 7 yet, we are only getting the OnePlus 7 Pro, which is significantly more expensive than the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, and the regular OnePlus 7 that is available for you in India. But I will argue that the Pixel camera is the absolute best in the industry, for most uses, and will be one of the highest selling points over all other value contenders that compromise too greatly on camera hardware. Performance is adequate enough, so it comes down to usability, and when you factor in a class-leading camera, excellent software and hardware support, and the widespread availability that the OnePlus 7 doesn’t have yet, it makes the 3a/3a XL very compelling buys outside of India.

The OP7P is meant to compete against the Pixel 3 XL, S10+ and Xs Max. In that regard, the OP7P offers a huge cost savings over those premium flagships. The regular OP7 is available in some markets now, but will come to others (like the USA) later, I think. That will most likely come in at a more palatable price tag, just as other OP models have. If it still isn’t, there’s always the 3a and Pocophone! Edit; removed extra “is” from sentence

IP rating should not be a deal breaker for anyone. What OEMs don't tell you is that the adhesive used to seal the phone and keep water out starts to degrade after several months. A phone with an IP rating will not have the same resistance to water a year after you've gotten it. IP ratings are great for spilling soda on your phone accidentally, not for dips in a toilet bowl or the pool.
@Karrppu

Especially great in a car or as a case etc... And won't harm your battery life in the long run like a fast charger will. Etc And a phone isn't waterproof. Only water resistant.
