Really good review. Very thorough and well explained and demonstrated. Going to get one of these to walk the Pennine Way.

I haven't used them. I do have the standard froggtog rain suit that's pretty handy.

Can you "connect" TWO of the OneWind poncho's together to make a larger shelter ? I see Velcro where the snaps would normally be...

I could definitely "Bushcraft " something but they don't just snap together.

Hay Jamie what about the plow point configuration? Great video..bought this poncho a year ago ..used it twice as shelter both time no troubles in stormy weather. It rides in my Haversack 90% of the time due too the fact it's my :OH SHIT EMERGENCY SHELTER.

Plow Point is a great shelter. It's the fastest shelter to set up.

What size did you test? I see there is 89" x 56" and 98" x 56". I'm 6' 6" so just wondering which one is in the video?

I don't recall specifying a size. Probably the larger size.

Killer review! Are you still using and enjoy this? Also, just curious what kind of stakes you used for the shelter section? Thanks!
