These videos are excellent. The audio/video is excellent. The instructor is an expert in the field, and the overall organization is incredible. Probably the best presentation for teaching videos that I've seen on KZitem . My only complaint is this: There are only three videos! When can we expect to see a full sixteen week course uploaded?

Thanks, Mike! I have a few more in progress, but with my live teaching and research responsibilities, it will be a while before I have a full 16-week course finished. I appreciate your comments.

liked ths Video. I needed informations about C elegans for a work at university. I am studying biology in germany. Thank you so much for this video, your explainations are amazing. I can understand the most of this. It is not as easy as some people think to understand all in english, but it was great. thank you so much. hopefully you will upload some other videos. I will look them of course also if I have not to work with this themes at university. ( And hopefully my english was good enough. hope you can understand what I mean.)

I am just a Student :) But we made some experiments with C.elegans and some other nematodes. We wached about the robber and swag positions about them in their habitations. And about the flexibility and the way of beeing build and so on. There was just experiments for students, but verry interresting.

i am a student too. I am currently studying Bsc in biotech. I want to work in the field of neurobiology in the future. Since the labs here have C.elegans related work going on, i thought i should make a research topic related to cellular mechanism of behaviour in c.elegans. But i cannot narrow it down, so i decided to watch/read more background information and scientific articles. Which brings me here, and that is why i asked you that question. Do you have any advice for me?

pramitbanerjee I'm research metabolism pathways in c.elegans there's a lot of gaps in knowledge regarding NHR49 but more generallyany of the c. elegans NHRs and ligand binding. However, I'm going to begin researching c. elegans klotho proteins soon - very limited knowledge in the area. This research will hopefully help in finding treatments for metabolism disorders like diabetes. Message me if u still need help I like to chat about c. elegans.

ossielmais are there any models of associative learning in c elegans, specifically one's that relate to defense or fear conditioning? I have had a interest in fear and anxiety in humans, and i have looked at some research on primate and rats, i wonder if c.elegans is capable of such behavior.

Fascinating video, I just watch these because I like science, and this was a great video. I am a veterinary student, but I can't claim to be this involved with molecular biology.

This is "introduction to c. Elegans", (i imagine for someone who never heard about it) and it does an excellent job. Obviously if you expected "learn everything about developmental biology in 30 min" you are going to be disappointed. Unfortunately seriously learning about anything in science requires a lot of efforr and sweat.
