Jami, you just have that special touch. To see little Gracie following you around was so beautiful. She began forming a special bond with you, a trust in you. And then to see her in your lap drinking from a bottle, thats so amazing. And you had me crying right along with you. Because you were determined not to give up. You were determined to find a way to make it work for her to take that bottle. I'm so proud of you Jami. Maybe now you'll be called The cow whisperer at the sanctuary. Thanks for all you do ❤️❤️❤️

I get the emotional things. When you’ve tried hard to get a baby to thrive, and then they finally do, it’s a big feat. I had the same battle with a lamb born with a cleft palate that couldn’t feed. I tried every kind of bottle teat possible over the course of a week, and then the first one he latched onto was a newborn baby bottle teat that has a diagonal flat edge on it. I cried with relief. Well done, Jami ❤️

@@vandemanferretstasmania.ni9576 it's just a term I don't believe in breaking the spirit of animal either. I believe a relationship should be formed out of trust and mutual respect forged with}patience & understanding.. an animal should want to do what you need it to out if its own free will and not forced when things are forced they are broken generally . We have a friend who dues same with his beautiful Brahman bulls too. That is a special and wonderful thing that you do with your Brahmans. Or many people have that nor will they. I used to encourage modified behaviours in parrots was able to teach complex concepts to them. There an animal If it doesn't like or trust you, it can really hurt you. Also if they don't want to do something, there's no forcing a parrot to do anything of any sort. Cheers to you and your special bulls cows and cattle.

Lester, give Jami a cuddle instead of a hard time but you did make her laugh. Maybe she’s tired. She works full time and there is so much work to do, coupled with anxiety for Grace. No wonder Grace would rather sit in her lap. Most babies like to be cuddled while they’ve fed. Good job, Jami.

Every animal has different requirements whether the experts tell you they do or not, and if a baby longhorn needs a lap to feed in, you just give it a lap to feed in! I can also understand the emotional outpouring at the end, because after going through all you go through to figure out what they require, since they can not speak to you, crying is the next logical step.
