You have such a pragmatic view on life. I enjoy not only watching your video's, but listening to what you say as well. The philosophy of "need and want" in today's world is disappearing, in many cases, has disappeared altogether.

We are what we eat. The only time we feed our chickens corn is in the winter. Supposed to help warm the up. Good outdoor kitchen chat. Have a good week.

I do the same…one fan blowing in the other blowing out it flushes the air and cools down my house fast. I do this all night till about 7am then I cover the sun light so the house stays cool till day 11am 😊 Great videos So hope your aware of the chem trails dumping bad stuff upon the land and our plants

Mosquitoes are attracted to certain colors and black is one of them. They are not attracted to white. Upper 90's and 49% humidity, wow. I yhink for the price of chicken feed it's cheaper to buy the quantity of eggs one needs. But chickens are a way of life and not a means to an end.

Do you get ticks? What do you do to minimize the exposure to them? I live in Brewer, Maine and the ticks are bad. I get a few ticks on me everytime i visit and help my dad in Holden (About 10 min. away from me).
@offgridhomesteadingmcgarve1494

Yes I have tick’s. That’s the other reason I dress the way I do. The cleaner you can keep your surroundings the less ticks you will have. Usually carried around by the wild animals.

How are you feeling with eating more protein? I was trying to eat better with less meat , but I wasn’t eating enough protein and I was starting to feel weak and a bit puny, so I’m trying to eat more protein now!

You still need money when you live off grid. As he mentions in the video reduce your need for money so you'll have to work less. But to be 100% sustainable and continue to live in society is not possible. Until taxes are abolished or the tax man takes barter we continue to need money. When you have gardens and animals that need care being gone during day hours makes it super hard to monitor and care for them. I get up at 3am. I don't like it. But I wouldn't trade my off grid homestead for a 9 to 5 ever
