Hey Rama, We think there's a big point we believe you don't seem to understand yet: - DKP will always be carvy no matter what. Well if you tight it up extremely the risk of breaking the kingpins gets really high - TKP From carvy (WITH THE CORRECT SETUP) - extremely tight anything is possible and the kingpin will never break even if it's extremely tight. Feel free to test and compare.

Hey Rama, we definitely recommend to setup the TKP trucks correctly. Basically if you want them to carve as close as possible to a DKP and to make sense to compare the side to side well to compare the carve ability you have to set them up carrier. - Take out the inner bushing - Use softer bushings - Top washer turned around (which you already did) - bottom washer remove completely (which you also did) The trucks will get a lot carvier after

At the same time we recommend to do a speed test with the curviest setup VS DKP and you will see what it's all about!

Nice to see you back. I love DKP trucks but when you have gotten used to single you can carve really well depending on which board, trucks and bushings. If you want to give your DKP a bit more stability I think you can tighten them, you have them super loose. Thanks

@@Ramatorix I have had three DKP boards and still have my GTR and I have kept them loose. I have from the last month been riding a BF zealot s and it turns pretty well. When I go back on the GTR now same happens to me as when you got on the TKP truck board. Timing is off when carving. Hope to see more from you and the Kaly. Also, I bought the 105 mm Mad wheels. Really great grip and a great middle ground. Take care.

@@Ramatorix It's been a rough year and half ish, knee was injured, healed then injured ankle at home so haven't ridden much in over a year. Hopefully soon I can ride regularly again. The talk around TKP vs DKP is very interestin, I would enjoy hearin more from you about it if you had further thoughts. I'm curious how TKP compares to RKP and I feel as though TKP won't be around in esk8 for much longer.

I read a really neat idea a few weeks ago. Longboards with dkp can be turned into single or traditional skateboard trucks by removing the middle bit. I'm looking into buying some huge risers to give it a go. It might make doing a speed run a bit easier. Thanks for another great video.

I would recommend an Onsra, Ownboard or B-one board TKP baseplate to do that, removin just the arm from DKP leaves a weird angle/geometry on many DKPs, changin the baseplate to a compatible TKP baseplate ensures it works. Otherwise kingpin can fall out mid-ride with arm removed from DKP. Good luck and I hope you share how you get on 🤙🏼

@@eBoard3R thanks. I'll jump online and hunt up a base plate. It might be a while, but I'll share how this goes. Cheers

Interesting that you say Tesla goes well in a straight line whilst loving a Camaro, American "sports" cars have had crap road holding capabilities all through time.
