I love this show so much. It will bring me out of the deepest depression. I've always loved British humor. And it's nice to know that the British have the same shenanigans going on among a certain class of people as do the Americans. People are people, and God love them all ! I love Ronnie Barker's stammer. What a talented actor he was ! I wish just once I could talk like that to a cashier just to see their reaction !

Errand boys aren’t always boys! I remember this old man whose heart is made of pure gold. He worked in a grocery shop. He was deaf and mute naturally but got high morals and highly respects ladies and adores toddlers. A good tip would make his day and he’d look up to the sky gratefully. I no longer shop at that shop and it’s been years. I want to go someday soon and ask about him.

Arkwright..Unreluthless. Relentless, ruthless, remorseless in his attempts to flog anything to anyone, INCLUDING his love and the formidable widow woman. "Gggginger cake on his mind." Found his first name was Albert, like Steptoe.

JULY 4TH - 2013 -Open hours reminds me of the time I was an errand boy for a local grocery shop. I received 25 pence per week and 35 pence per week tips from the customers I deviled. I remember my Headmaster stopping me one Friday and asking, If I have n employment card.. When I said no sir ,he said see e in my office Jimmy on Monday morning, which I did. and he issued me with a work permit; little did he know I also delivered newspapers every morning for 35 pence per week, Monday to Saturday.
