Steve, I have followed your ministry for several years now and have found you to be very biblical and sharp witted. The one thing I have "possibly" noticed is that, because of your biblical knowledge, you are not "extremely" engaged in a local church (this is not meant to be a call-out or an accusation, since I only watch from afar). It does lead me to the question (selfishly, because I am speaking at my local church next weekend on the topic of "what is church") what do you think about "the church". What I mean is, can a person be a christian and a part of the ekklesia (the local congregation/gathering/assembly) or not engaged in a local church? I know there is a reference in the NT of the "unassembled assembly" (not in those words), but it seems to me that there are a lot of "lone rangers" out there who, for whatever reason (some better than others), want to avoid church (as biblically defined as an assembly/congregation). FYI, I also know there is a universal church (believers throughout time and space), regional churches (Galatia), and local churches (Corinth - which seemed to gather as a whole regularly from their normal home churches). My proposition is that people need to be involved in local gatherings of: saved people, of baptized disciples, who regularly assemble, who have worship (not specifically defined intentionally), where that Word of God is preached, who celebrate communion, and under God-appointed leadership. Please shoot holes in whatever you see here. Again, no need to defend/define your involvement in a local ekklesia, my intent is not to attack your faith in any way. Dave

GOD bless you Steve for having the humility and integrity to admit that our belief system should be evaluated and reformed, if necessary, to truly seek GOD'S truth.

Michael Heiser thinks the passage is not just about the king but about Satan. He explains it quite well. Love Steve but this is a passage where I disagree.

Steve really needs to come out of the closet so to speak and tell people what he really believes about the subject

God is a druid deity from ancient Babylon Strongs H- 1409. Jesus is a name that is less than 4 hundred years old. From the second printing of the KJV Bible in 1629. Amen is an Egyptian deity. Both the Hebrews and Greeks say Awmein
