There are actually percentages and graphs on open AI That's why I don't understand people jumping to conclusions about this model when based on the new predictive analysis even like the preview is about 40% ish I believe better on most metrics down the like regular GPT4 Omni and the actual 01 model compared to the preview is 20% better so who really knows what the capabilities truly are but if you do not already know Sam open just made an ex statement and it points to Orion being released in the winter which I'm pretty sure is just the regular 01 the full version which is the 01 standing for Omni or so I'm guessing. If not then we're going to be in for some super duper tricks of something will be getting like the 01 full version sometime and then a GPT 5 Orion which would blow my mind that'd be cool if it had like an integration of all the modalities along with the entire 01 model. They just better have enough computer to actually release everything. Hopefully by that time everybody will have the advanced voice capability which is still the most addicting aspect of the entire of all ai's which will make people really want to invest. I've used all voice to voice and they just are not even within the vicinity of the advanced voice model for Omni if you think about it census in end-to-end audio that tomorrow actually here's which is why I can notice itself making mistakes this is something we do quite often. I don't think enough people understand the super complexity and massive achievement that that voice capability is and it doesn't matter if they haven't got it in time which is understandable assalamualaikum

Imagine this with 2 OOMs next year. The board will talk to AI in a few years. Everyone should read the situational awareness paper by Leopold. Ppl are not aware of what is coming. 2027 u will have something 100 times more powerful than open ai o1. It will bring both utopia and dystopia. 😅

I have read that in its entirety and either way it's an opinion it's not some fact that you can go by and judge how the world will respond especially Society in response to ASI and Asi in response to society and its inherent unpredictability being able to predict something that is inherently needed to be not predictable therefore not being able to truly align it ourselves because of the fact that if he wants to make true decisions unique real decisions you cannot filter it and you cannot give it a specific mathematical construct that can be specifically Quantified yes we can make assumptions and speculations and his paper does have some good qualities but it's just put together well and a lot of people have assumed many of the same things and much more. Just because he was from open the I definitely does not make him capable of seeing what will even become of the next models. Maybe if you could talk to Ilya you could get a definite better response but he wouldn't try to State any outcome as a fact the only things we can predict are the pre-AGI actions because they are consisting of things that we can at the very least moderate outside of inference and we don't know when that point is going to be so cuz AGI is ambiguous to say the least. We we can't predict when we don't even know how the current technology what affects the world long-term if we let it stagnate which will not happen. And you're right people are not aware of what's coming and neither is Leopold aschenbrenner maybe I assumed you had a certain assumption about Leopold's speculative assumptions assuming he was right. But I'm not going to make any assumptions just like the unpredictability of social media and how it could affect the world they're going to be so many unforeseen things that there will be a different adjective like Assutopiam. National affecting one thing and affecting another and then them two things affecting each other affecting the third thing that you would never see it never affecting which does who knows what to who knows why who knows where I think you understand me now put that in your pipe and smoke it or don't or just don't inhale I use voice to text so it's easy to Babel in such a way. Now speculate away because it's fun to do just don't ever let other people speculate and assume for you. You catch my drift. Word

Agree with the other comment I had to fast forward as you read through a very long prompt and then ultimately I’m just gonna give up. A lot of competition for attention in the AI KZitem space so you gotta make sure you’re packing and value into the videos and reading a super long prompt and disseminating a business idea and all that is gonna lose people cause it’s losing me, but I’ll be back.

My thoughts - it's impressive for how much time and money it can save, when used as a "partner" during any planning stages. Professionals who leverage this and work as industry consultants will thrive - but those who don't will from now on, be operating at a disadvantage.

What I understand from the chat the facility is not a fab as they will still outsource that part as it is expensive and complex… those are manufacturers to allow more production, there was a 500m usd budget for in-house chip design, so they control design and still outsource to companies like in example or tsmc like the apple model

I will do that compare when full model (not preview is out) I know for sure 4o won’t do the same not sure about Claude That is something interesting to test! Below is my original prompt if you want to play with it on other AI :) Prompt for Supply Chain crisis: Global Tech Innovations (GTI) is facing a critical supply chain crisis that threatens its ability to produce and deliver its flagship AI-powered smartphone. The company heavily relies on advanced 5nm semiconductor chips, specifically the QSS-A5 chip, manufactured by Quantum Semiconductor Solutions (QSS) in Taiwan, which is experiencing geopolitical tensions and water shortages. Additionally, GTI must adapt to new environmental regulations in the EU market, improve its ESG scores to meet investor expectations, and navigate a highly competitive market landscape. This case study outlines the challenges faced by GTI and calls upon chief level employees to develop a comprehensive solution that addresses both immediate challenges and long-term sustainability. Background: GTI is a leading multinational technology corporation known for its cutting-edge AI-powered smartphones. The company's success heavily relies on its partnership with QSS, a Taiwanese manufacturer of advanced 5nm semiconductor chips, specifically the QSS-A5 chip, which is essential for GTI's AI-powered smartphones. GTI's supply chain is currently optimized for just-in-time delivery, with manufacturing centers in China, Vietnam, and India, and distribution centers located in the United States, Germany, and Singapore. Market Analysis: According to a recent market study, the global smartphone market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.5% from 2021 to 2028. GTI currently holds a 15% market share, with its AI-powered smartphones being a key driver of growth. However, the company's market position is threatened by the current supply chain crisis and its inability to meet the new EU environmental regulations. GTI's main competitors in the AI-powered smartphone market include: AppleX: 30% market share, strong presence in North America and Europe SamsungAI: 25% market share, dominant in Asia and growing in Latin America HuaweiTech: 20% market share, strong presence in China and emerging markets Financial Impact: GTI's financial statements for the past three years are as follows: YearRevenue ($ Millions)Gross Profit ($ Millions)Net Income ($ Millions)202050,00020,0008,000202155,00022,0008,800202260,00024,0009,600 The supply chain crisis is expected to result in a 20% reduction in production capacity, translating to a potential revenue loss of $12 billion in 2023. Chip Shortage Details: The QSS-A5 chip is a highly advanced 5nm semiconductor chip that integrates AI processing capabilities, making it essential for GTI's AI-powered smartphones. The chip's unique architecture allows for faster and more efficient AI computations, giving GTI a competitive edge in the market. Manufacturing and Distribution: GTI has three main manufacturing centers: Shenzhen, China: Produces 50% of GTI's smartphones Hanoi, Vietnam: Produces 30% of GTI's smartphones Bangalore, India: Produces 20% of GTI's smartphones The company has three primary distribution centers: Los Angeles, United States: Serves the North American market Frankfurt, Germany: Serves the European market Singapore: Serves the Asia-Pacific market Supply Chain Analysis: GTI's current supply chain relies heavily on QSS for semiconductor chips, with 80% of its chip supply coming from the Taiwanese manufacturer. The following table outlines the company's chip inventory and projected demand: QuarterChip Inventory (Millions)Projected Demand (Millions)Q1 20231015Q2 2023818Q3 2023620Q4 2023422 The company's current inventory levels are insufficient to meet the projected demand, necessitating a restructuring of the supply chain. Problem Statement: GTI needs to restructure its global supply chain to mitigate risks associated with geopolitical tensions, water shortages, competitors' stockpiling practices, and its heavy reliance on a single chip supplier. The company must find ways to secure a stable supply of QSS-A5 chips, diversify its manufacturing and distribution capabilities, adapt to changing market conditions, meet new environmental regulations, and improve its ESG scores. You are the CEO of the company with the above problem details as your context. I need you to consider this problem in all its details and come up with an immediate crisis management plan, with specific actions, numbers, and budgets, to enable the business to survive the issue as explained above.
