I have a lot of free time on my hands, so I've been playing with OpenFOAM and Blender and etc.
This is a simulation of Earthquake Vol01.
It is generally believed that the shaking during an earthquake is stronger at the surface layer than at the bedrock.
So this time, I used PriPoMax to check the difference.
Although this was a virtual analysis in which not only the rock and ground surface but also buildings were replaced with
the physical properties of metals and resins, I were also able to confirm the long-period vibration behavior of high-rise buildings.
Unfortunately, for this scale, it was not possible to set the frequency between 100 and 200 Hz, which is considered to be the frequency
when a large-scale earthquake occurs, and this will be an issue for future study.
Chapters:
00:00 ①Front cover
00:00 ②Schematic diagram and description.
00:35 ③PrePoMax results are displayed.
Note: Basically, I don't disclose the analysis conditions (boundary conditions, etc.) of OpenFOAM
