I have a lot of free time on my hands, so I've been playing with OpenFOAM and Blender and etc.
This is the lever action Vol02 simulation of figure.
I used PrePoMax to analyze the deformation of two doorknob auxiliary levers made of different resin materials.
In general, it seems that many are made of rubber,
but I analyzed it with ABS. PET is for comparison, but you can see that the behavior is significantly different from ABS.
Now, which do you think is better suited for doorknob auxiliary levers, ABS or PET?

PrePoMaxで材料樹脂が異なる2つのドアノブ補助レバーの変形解析を行ってみました。
一般的にはゴム製が多いようですが、ABS製で解析してみました。PETは比較用ですが、
ABSとは挙動が大きく変わる事が判ります。
さてABS とPET、どちらがドアノブ補助レバーに適していると思いますか?
