I'd like to see flow curve (strain-stress dependence) and info about contacts....🧐

Thank you for your comment. I was a little surprised by your analysis model. As for your question about strain stress and contact, unfortunately I've only been doing structural analysis for about two years, so I'm not confident that I can answer correctly. Furthermore, the application I'm using is Calculix FEM, so it's not very powerful. Even so, I've tried many times to analyze strain stress and contact. I think the reason I can't analyze it properly is because there's a problem with the mesh. However, I think it's possible with the Ansys you're using.

@@take_den_openfoam Yeah... they may look strange... but that the way nobody steal them... that look makes them unusefull for others. If u decided to use plasticity u had to fill chart with values of strain and stress... it's called flow chart... next thing is contact... i guess hardcontact with friction (eventualy soft linear contact with muliplayed value of Young Modulus by 50 should gives the same results as hard one) yep... there's some better softwares

@@jakubsobka2621 Your method is certainly innovative, but it is correct. However, I don't think I can imitate it. 😀 I also input strain and stress charts. I get satisfactory results if no contact conditions are added. I also tried friction conditions, but the results diverge during the analysis. I think this is because even simple models, not the delicate ones you use, cannot be divided into ideal meshes. However, this is due to the software I use.

@@take_den_openfoam U have been talking about my simulations... That so much different thing... There's so mamy ways how materiał can behave during destruction... many things depends of that witch software u use and witch kind of material model u choose what kind of material destruction u expect destruction... generaly there's no way to do that using prepomax or i guess any oyher open source software...

@@jakubsobka2621 I think you're right. I'd feel good if the relationship between stress and strain and contact could be solved, but it's difficult with free software. The same goes for fracture problems. I envy you for being able to use Ansys like you do. But I'm happy to be able to handle structural and fluid analysis on a small PC. It would be better if OpenFoam was a little easier to use.

Can you do a tutorial about this?

Thank you for viewing my content. I'm really sorry, but the tutorials have been private since I started uploading them. There's a reason for this. It's been about two years (and I've only been using PrePoMax for a few months.) since I started learning fluid analysis and structural analysis, so if I publish the wrong method, I'll cause trouble. I hope you understand.

@@take_den_openfoam on the contrary, if you upload the procedure we can help you out in the verification method! We will not blame you because the answer is not accurate, on the contrary we can help each other! Please make a tutorial!
