An audio module perfect for many different graphics APIs… including OpenGL (Powered by OpenAL).
In this tutorial, I show you how to incorporate the SFML audio module into your games and graphics applications.
One of SFML’s dependencies is OpenAL, a cross-platform audio application programming interface. SFML plays sound and music in the wav, ogg/vorbis, and flac file formats.
1) Playing sounds and music
2) Recording audio
3) Custom audio streams
4) Spatialization: Sounds in 3D
The SFML audio module, allows you to: control the listener and game object relative volume, set the attenuation and minimum distance, adjust the pitch, use continuous loop playback, and set an offset start position.
