@Randy Boone If you're talking about using a piece of paper to trip the sensors, then it that's not what I meant. I was talking about the u key to access the shaft. You can't access a shaft with a piece of paper. But still that is cool that you were able to get the doors to open with a piece of paper. Fortunately for me, my school's Dover Impulse can't be locked off.

Andrew’s Station after around 5 seconds of the door safety strip( the device that stops the door shutting on someone or something) is interrupted the doors automatically open

Shut off elevator motor circuit before opening doors.
