I really enjoyed watching your operating session! Wish I could see your entire layout track plan. I like the linear design with the type of system I plan to build. I’ve been away from the hobby for 30+ years. Have decided to use KATO N Scale Unitrack to build my layout. Your buildings are also something I like. Congratulations, well deserved IMO! Your roads looks like the real deal! Very realistic in appearance. Your scenery is also well thought out. Trees and grassy areas are nicely done.

Hey Tom, thanks for sharing... I really like your railway. It packs a lot of action into your available space without looking overcrowded. Also, your scenery is amazing. I love the fact that you made your roads a prototypical size. Most people seem to model roadways about the width of a driveway with no sense of going anywhere. Your roads fit in well with the scenery and add a prototypical touch to everything else you've accomplished as well. Nice work

Loved the 3 part videos. Very prototypical operations. Layout very nicely done, not overcrowded, nice scenery and run at prototypical speeds and not high speed. I enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thanks for letting the locomotive 'speak' and not the operator, too many vids are over-narrated. Also, kudos for the working fence gates on the 2 sidings, very realistic. Nicely done...

Great looking layout. Like the small, clean, but very effective layout design, with continuous run option as a bonus. 👍

Thank you very much. Let's see about the track plan. I would have to do a part 4 with the plan. But you can also see a lot from the overviews at the beginning of the videos.

In the German-language "US Modellbahnforum" I documented the construction of my switching layout from the beginning with text and pictures. A track plan of my layout can also be found there. Here is the link. us-modellbahn.net/forum/index.php?thread/45036-jayville-terminal-switching-layout/

Should have set out head gondola as you went past scrap dealer. Would have saved you a few moves and lots of walking

Yes you are right. It would only be 7 moves and not 10 like mine.
