Fun fact the villainous character Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid supposedly was a part of the SAS squad hunting scuds before he was captured and tortured by the Iraqis. He eventually escaped and was recruited into the American Foxhound organization before they went rogue thus setting off the events of Metal Gear Solid 1.

Hearing that the new Black ops game will be during desert storm made me so excited, because we finally get to see what is technologically some thing similar to the modern warfare games in black ops

I saw one of Saddam's SCUDs at the American Heritage Museum in my home state in Hudson, MA. It's a massive cruise missile that was captured by the U.S. military when we invaded Iraq in 2003. It's now on display for all to see.

my uncle died in desert storm. he was in marines, and was part of the clean up crew after the cease fire. he sent letters home to my older siblings, saying he was coming home after clean up was done. according to mom (his sister) he was driving an empty ammo truck hit a patch of loose sand and lost control. cant remember if he died at scene or at hospital. he died 4 years before i was born, and my middle name is named after him.
