Lady Di considers rehab just like I consider finally getting around to writing that novel I keep talking about.

To Jim's credit, he really was giving her good advice and motivation at the end of this segment

Exactly why no one cares about what happened to her. Some ppl aren’t lucky enough to even have ppl who try to help and she squandered it all. She chose alcohol, drugs, watching tv all day and chasing men over her son. Ironically, Peter was better off for this. He doesn’t have to feel responsibility for Di.

she sounds like shes lost her mind already and this is 10 years old. if she hadn't been a drunk for the last 20 years she would have lived to 120.

she lost it in her 20's. when she was dishonorably discharged she sort of stopped any kind of emotional or mental growth. you can tell when she called in, she was stuck in that moment.

It’s sad for her son and father but I have trouble feeling bad for her. Her use of “I don’t know” is what really makes it difficult to feel bad for her. She is simply doing what she wants to do with no regard for anyone else or her future. She’s permanently stuck with a 16 yr olds mentality
