If I had it to do over again, I'd make a much simpler version of this unit, one with only air filters, tape, and a fan. For the effort I put into building a wooden frame, it simply wasn't worth it -- it does clean SOME dust from the air, but simply does not get rid of enough dust to be a solution for someone who does woodworking constantly. (I do maybe 10-15 projects a year, so it will be enough for me.)
Cost of fan and filters: about $40 altogether. (Wood and screws were things I had lying around, but obviously they cost something too.)
Note: I'm not a professional woodworker, carpenter, or even KZitemr. I'm just a homeowner who sometimes builds things in my garage.
Note 2: The background footage of the fan is from Jan. 18, 2023. My narration footage and audio is from Dec. 29, 2023.
