Society uses the word friends way too loosely. Just because they know each other and have taken pictures together doesn’t make them “friends. “She and Harvey were never “friends.” Gayle is her friend. Do you get it now?

2022 and I still think her show was awesome. It wasn't just for women. I thought that a lot growing up but whenever I caught it on TV, it really was largely a good time and many times very educational, in a world where home internet was still in its infancy. Oprah had her missteps and even maybe had been misguided at times but I still thank her and that show for opening people's eyes and starting conversations that needed to be had.

I can't believe the show is gone :'( She has changed a lot more than people think. Oprah wasn't a talk show, it was Oprah. Everything she was about, the people, the opinions, the love and the light that she brought into people's homes. The tides of change brought to people's hearts. Oprah, you will be missed and I hope you have the best of the long days ahead of you. Thank you.

I watched her box set and it's remarkable! All the love, tears, lessons and memories that makes me realize how lucky I am to be in a world at the same time she is. I have never laughed and cried and learned and gotten so much joy from a television show. She taught many of us how to be empowered as women. She showed us we all have something to give. She was a blessing to many of us over the years. We were lucky to have her. Thank you Oprah. For everything ❤️

This is a master class for anyone retiring from a long career: go out on top, go out with dignity, and go out with class. Too many people stay in careers longer than they should, and often don't get to enjoy their twilight years and everything they worked for. Then there are those who die not long after retiring, because they didn't plan for a life beyond work, or they have no identity outside of their title/occupation. Oprah accomplished everything she needed to in those 25 years. She came at the dawning of the golden age of talk show hosts, and made her mark. It was time for her to enjoy the fruits of her labor, rest on her laurels, and pass the baton by acquiring a network for quality television shows. Now a new generation of television viewers can enjoy programming for a modern world. She accomplished far more than most in her prime, and what an honor it was to watch her build bridges, and connect with everyday people: that's a gift that not everyone has, but Aquarius is the humanitarian of the zodiac. What a beautiful difference one single life made.

I don't get why so many people hate/hated Oprah. It could be the fact that she is a woman of color. It could be her success in a man's world. But, with regarding to what she did and what she showed us through this show was a great example of what positive things television can do and what people can do when they allow themselves to be the best of themselves, and to show it in their lives. To accept, understand, forgive, enjoy, and love. What is wrong with those values?

Opra was terrible for families when she first came on the air, calling all men Dogs, that crap ruined so many families, men always knew when their wife had been watching Opra, because when they got home from work, their Wife, who had always been kind and loving would start an argument with him out of thin air. Opra was drooling after she saw Tyra Banks Breast, on one of her episodes, you can find it, its out her somewhere, she didn't get married, because she is Gay.
