The pumping/absorption through Photon/Light is said to be Radiative Transition So, is pumping or absorption through Electric current/ Electric field will said to be Non-Radiative Transition?

Ok... So, this term is basically came from the derivation of "DENSITY OF STATES for 3D" for the case of Semiconductor... plz go through any reputed book for semiconductor physics and search for the topic...

There is a key question(or issue) in the derivation: p(E2)dE2= p(hv)dhv. This step assumes that only the density of states in one band matters for the total transition. However, in reality, one should expect that the transition is related to both the density of states in the valence band and the conduction band (the concept of joint-density of states). For example, if one band is highly degenerated, one would expect a shift in the absorption spectra (so-called moss Burstein shift). To me, the method used in this video can not predict that change. The derivation, from the point of p(E2)dE2= p(hv)dhv, is not correct and misleading.

In the first part of the video, only the allowed transitions are considered. Under the parabolic approximation, for a given k value the density of states around E1 and E2 are equal as the bands are mirror images of each other.
