Once you have the back plate off, ease the slide forward. The striker is even easier to pull out then.

I have the older model without the cut out for the sight. But I still love it. The take down is cool and I like it. I like keeping an eye on my striker. I had one fail in a Ruger once and I keep a close eye on them now. I carried a gun for two weeks that would have never went off. I don't worry about that with the Mossberg.

Hows it holding up i really want one of these !

@@Marksuckerburgg it holds up really well. Still have never had a jam and it always works. I carry it a lot. My vision is slipping a little but the 3 dot sights are easy to see. I can see those sights when I can't really see others. This pistol is still great.

I'm looking at acquiring the MC2C and have come down to two holsters the MK that you have and the Slim Tuck IWB from Desantis. Thoughts? Also, can you send the exact specs you did for your MK?

If you had to choose between the Mossberg MC2C or Stoeger STR-9C which would it be?

They are both fine firearms but seeing as I own the MC2C, I have made my choice. TFW

I want to get an optic but I have been a little confused of it staying that it uses the RMS footprint, but when I search RMS sights it automatically switch to RMS(c) footprint. Is that the same?

What screw size dis you use? The M4x.07 recommended in the manual is too large for the threaded posts....

I believe in another video review they mentioned needing M3 screws. I ordered this pistol and was looking to pick up a shield rms micro dot. Pricey for the metal version they also have a composite version for less but I would question the durability of that version. They give you screws options to choose from when ordering the dot. Can't wait till it arrives so I can start breaking it in.

@@nickshira50 You're right. It is M3. Yeah the dots are pretty pricey. I'm trying the ruger ready dot and swapping to night sights. Fantastic pistol. Just wish the stippling was in more places.
