Really like your approach, preparing yourself like a professional athlete. As for my personal experience i once peaked grandmasters only playing 1-2 games a day on my main acc. This season i'll be trying to hit gm again or even maybe challenger, i never managed to get past 400lp masters after hitting gm for the first time, might as well experiment with vod review and mental focus. I dont have that much time to play 3 league games per day because of college tho 😅

Great Video. Especially good Sleep is so important for everything in your life, but so is eating and drinking, just living healthy in general. Even with good sleep, if I play a 3 block and am Hungry or thirsty I won't have the energy to perform at 100%.

BS . Is the push pull system league has to keep you playing. Why do you think has lasted for so many years ? They give you the candy ,you want more ,then they take it back from you and you fetch back to get it . Winning streak and losing streak happens all the time .I have played drunk not being able to see till my nose and still winning,and losing the when tryhard. The game is coin flip ,which side has the troll and which one the smurf

I spaced my games like queue after 30 mins or so after the match end if thats a titlting game and queue after 5 mins break and seeing stats how i can improve my gameplay. Before i just queue and queue around 8pm~4am nonstop and having subpar 50+ wr. Now i have 70 wr and less stressed playing the game and steadily climbing 😮

Have to disagree with "the block of 3" The reason koreans are better is because they dedicate more hours to the game, its not untypical for a korean pro to play 16 hours a day. Yes focus might only be perfect for 90 minutes but when it comes to actual improvement the more hours the better.

It used to be the case that people were winning by spamming games, but try spamming games all day vs playing blocks of 3 and you will likely see an immediate jump in ability to improve

But muscle memory and experience play a huge factor do they not? its a question of if its better to play 3 games at 100% or 16 games at 60%, my gut instinct tells me the 16 at 60% is quicker improvement@@Sentrial
@Sentrial
8 ай бұрын
@@SanctuaryD3 It is most people's gut instinct. The problem is that muscle memory and intuition grow only if you are intentional and highly focused. It's just not feasible to get that much learning from playing that many games. Most people will likely get straight up more learning in 6 games across the day than with full focus and intention than 16 games mindlessly (which is what it usually turns into)

be me; Gold 1 (80lp), lose tons of game in a row, get down to Silver 2, rage, bash my head against a wall, do 10 push-up, get back in queue, didn't lose a single game, got to Plat 4 (this, all in a single game session, did 20 hours league) ✨😎👌

Until now I always tried to play until I get 2 losses in a row, disregarding the time. If I'm on a winstreak, the game that breaks the winstreak should be the last for today. Losing streak tilt is minimized by the 2 game loss rule. That's the rules I usually went by and it actually helped me a lot to climb out of Silver. Does this seem like a logical approach and should I stick to it or is there any change I should make? Either way, I will try to add your advice of mental breaks and stepping out of my room for a bit, because I really feel the fatigue on longer sessions, even after winning.

Music is kinda iffy, if I listen to some classical music while playing it helps me tilt less by a lot, so even if there is a focus downside, I think the upside of being in a good mood and wanting to win far exceeds the downside.

When we talk about points where you want to focus, we are talking about high intensity deep focus which is what we want to play league. So, it depends on how you are watching videos. Are you watching something very intently, critically thinking about it, and problem solving along with it? Or are you just passively watching and not giving much focus? This is what you can ask about any activity you are doing. You should be able to easily tell whether or not something is requiring a lot of mental energy or not Make sure you are atill taking time to get in the right mindset tho to get into a state of deep focus

I find it disrespectful to copy paste the concepts defined in the Broken By Concept podcast and present them as your own without mentioning where you got them from. While the video is well made and helpful for the league community I think it would still be appropriate to give a nod to the ones who put all these things into words in the first place.

@@Sentrial been playing for around 3 months now. I perform very well with akali and yone and wanted to pickup sylas as a third. I feel like I can play them confidently but need to focus a little more on my macro. Other than that, I thought limiting my champion pool for these 3 would also make me a more consistent player.
