Fireground video including fire conditions preceeding arrival of fire crews at the Orangewood Apartments in Bristol Township. Levittown #2 Deputy 13 arrived on scene along at 12:08 with police officers and were met with fire showing from a first floor apartment on Joseph Place. Squirt 13 arrived as the first in engine company and established a water supply by dropping over 500' of supply line to a hydrant at Orangewood Drive and Old Brook Rd. Squirt 13's crew made access to the fire apartment with an 1" 3/4 hose line and began an aggressive interior attack. While that was underway; Levittown #1 Rescue 32's crew pulled a backup line off the Squirt and knocked down fire in a front bedroom, from the exterior. Firefighters from Edgely and Croydon ascended to the roof and checked the firewall area for extension using hooks and a thermal imaging camera. William Penn Engine 77's crew went interior in the neighboring apartment units to check for extension. Crews from Third District also assisted on the scene along with Falls Township Rescue 30 who stood by as the Rapid Intervention Team. The fire was placed under control at 12:29 am. Bristol Township Fire Marshal is investigating the cause. A small dog who reportedly ran back into the neighboring upstairs apartment was reunited to the resident unharmed.
