I personally prefer his legacy videos. There's a lot of wild brews in legacy, and it definitely has a lot less "get out of this bad situation" buttons than vintage

In legacy, ancestral has to put two cards from your hand back on top of your deck. Sadly it means you can get recall locked, where your forced to 'recall' the two cards you put on top of your library

13:59 Ray of Enfeeblement... now there's a sideboard card I haven't seen outside of Pioneer. I guess it makes sense, it kills Bowmasters and Ragavan in addition to Lurrus and the white Initiative creatures.

Yeah it's really cool as a "black lightning bolt" , and as you mention it's even got upside over actual bolt on Seasoned Dungeoneer which is a real thing for sure. Oh and Monastery Mentor potentially, though he's not so much in flavor anymore I think?

Lurrus should be unbanned in modern. Just unban everything. If they see nothing wrong with scam why is Lurrus banned?
@ragingtempestus6566
10 ай бұрын
@malcolmadair8373 Cos Scam is a much larger card investment in return for speed. Lurrus is a free card for many decks, in return for giving them grind-potential that requires a whole sideboard commitment. Not only that, but Lurrus can be a value piece at any time, scam isn’t always good during a game. In short, scam is nowhere near the power level nor the consistency of Lurrus decks

Dress Down is some great tech for this deck. It is really good in the Lurrus mirror where you can play it in your end step, which turns off their Lurrus, and goes away at the end of their turn. Rinse and repeat until you hit the win.

Always happy to see vintage on here. R1G1 btw I think attacking before Timetwister is the better line. I don't think there's any way we can lose if we do it in that order (obviously we give up damage but we didn't need the extra 7 power on the orc anyways). But by twistering first, we could conceivably lose to dark ritual bowmaster chump block. Not very likely but not unthinkable either.

One comment, i feel like you had lots of opportunities to bauble yourself for more info on your draw with a fetch land and dodnt use it. Like in the last round you baubled an opponent who had only a fetch land in play. Just a small thing, but maybe im obsessed eith baubling myself from shadow
@BoshNRoll
10 ай бұрын
Yeah that depends on the situation. If I already have an answer, I want to know what threat to use it on so I’ll bauble them. If I already know the threat, I’ll look for an answer by baubling myself. This deck has so many answers that I usually ended up targeting opponent
