Conversely Butchers have always had secret cuts just for them. Intestines, Organs & Sweet Meat Offals have centuries of history that continues to grace tabled today

Last time I ordered like that I paid eighty dollars. But I was eating good bbq for two days straight. So worth it. Pull pork, sliced brisket, ribs, burnt ends, sausage, chicken, beans, potato salad and cornbread was the order. I was amazing.

Franklin's is damn good, had it on my way back to DFW from a cousins reunion that I also squeezed in a camping trip down in the Medina and Concan area. Definitely worthy of being in the top 10 best bbq joints in Texas.

Kansas City native, and don’t tell anyone I said this but Texas small batch BBQ is the best in the country. Franklins, Pecan Lodge, Cattleack… KC does have the sides on lockdown, Mac, Cheesy Corn, BBQ Baked Beans… but the meat doesn’t compare.

I was bored so I did the math. Couldn’t find price per rib but everything else comes out to 110, and then 30/lb for ribs. So depending on how much they weighed. Could be 140-170 before tax Austin tourist trap.

@@doofusPoofus Austin is literally the shit hole of Texas. I’ve lived in Texas my entire life. It’s one giant tourist trap. Everything is three times more expensive than the rest of the state. Also, there are better bbq places than franklin’s. Franklin’s is kind of a “I want to flex with photos on Instagram” place. There’s a better place just southeast of Ft Worth called Goldee’s that is rated like the second or third best in the nation (which means the world because the US has the best bbq). Franklins isn’t even that good tbh.
