I would give my eye teeth for a '53 Studey Coupe...but to turn one into a drop-top, MAN! THAT is beautifully done. And I must say that I respect the guy for NOT dropping a SB Chevy in there. The Avanti 289 is the perfect choice. A little hard to find parts for...but very cool.

My older brother's first car was a 1957 Golden Hawk with the supercharged 289. That thing was a sleeper! Even with the 2 speed auto transmission it was a monster. I'd love to find one now that doesn't cost a fortune, just a nice driver. this video brings back a lot of memories.

What a beautiful Studebaker way ahead of its time but a leader in style in its present day, absolutely perfect styling! I hated the bullet style Studebaker'in the 50's so in a sense Studebaker's were a johnny come lately except for the Studebaker Hawks. They were also unique!

The last car was so cool. Some specific features that I wish you would have asked about are the following. !. It was awfully low did it have air bags or some low rider type hydraulics? 2. Does it have A/C? 3. What type of brakes? disc anti lock? 4. What type of transmission? 5. It looks awesome but how does it drive? The Studebaker was gorgeous. I sure would have liked to have some of the story of where he acquired it and the build. I'm especially curious about how he accomplished the convertible top. How does it work and is it manual or power. I think it's nice that you gush over each owner's car. I would like a little less of that and more information about the cars you feature. You do manage to get some amazing and unique cars on your show. Your's is no exception in the following way.. I just find that too often I feel like following these car interview it's like sex with out an orgasm.
