A superb programme on a superb instrument, the latter being, I imagine, quite unforgiving and unkind to those whose playing technique could do with a dose serious TLC. One of the 'wonders' of your programmes, Richard, is the opportunity afforded to us to actually WATCH you playing, as well as listening to what is being played. I'm a firm believer that one can, and does, learn quite a lot sometimes by simply 'watching' a true artist at work, and you ARE an artist to be both listened to and watched as you go about doing what you do so well. Seeing your 'magic' fingers (and thumbs) literally dance and glide so gracefully over the keys whilst switching effortlessly between manuals is like watching ten super-programmed delicate computer-controlled micro-switches switching on and off to produce what can only be described as perfectly captured harmonies, exquisite counter-point and oh-so-accurate timing. Your pedal work is amazing too, as are the socks! What a gift and what a blessing you are to all of us here in your BiS community. Thank you too for the Manz: Now thank we all our God - indeed - for the gift of music and song and for all that YOU (and Caroline) share with us all. Thank you. Tx

Richard, you have made that instrument sound just amazing. Your talent in selecting the songs as well as your execution playing them was spectacular. I so much enjoyed watching you, as well as listening with almost disbelief as it was being played as a sampled instrument. One question I have about this sample set... is each division under expression? I thought I read a note about that somewhere while seeking an instrument for an organ I am currently building for someone. In any case, fantastic mini-concert and Thank You for your time to put your effort into sharing this with everyone!! May God richly bless you and your family!

Moonlight & Roses brings back long lost memories as it was my Mum’s favorite for me to play on our ancient Baldwin piano -60 odd years ago!!!👍

Thanks for the Bach Prelude and & Fugue in D Major. I had it played for my wedding 35 years ago. I had been trying to remember which one I had each time I hear you play one of Bach's preludes and fugues.

Voxus did a spectacular job on capturing such a nuanced instrument - the acoustics of the building are especially awesome. The pieces that you chose to play were a perfect showcase for your talent and the instrument! You took the D Major Bach P/F about the fastest that I have ever heard it. It came off exceptionally clear and I could hear the "fake-outs' that Bach scribed in the fugue. Just when you think he is at a cadence or coda - ...hold on there is more!

For those to whom it is relevant - the UK is returning to God-Made Time tonight. Sounds like an excellent excuse for a hour-long 'interlude' prior to Virtual Church tomorrow!

I have to wonder what JSB was celebrating when he came up with BWV 532. Pure joy comes across in this performance.
