That organ 5:35 used to be in the office of Dr. Bush. It was built by Kenneth Jones in 1988. 23 ranks. This was the organ i took my first lessons on.

Wonderful tour! What's the nice, gentle piece you're playing at the 10:45 minute mark? An improvisation?

It was an improvisation centered around the circle

Who is the builder of the beautiful 3-manual instrument (starting at 5:35) in the recital hall? It appears to have a tracker action. Does the room have any reverberation? Can you point me to the stoplist specification?

I meant to reply to you but posted it to the general thread instead. Kenneth Jones. 1988. 23 ranks. Used to be in the office of Dr. Doug Bush

@@ryanroberts8783 Thank you! It is a very nicely integrated and versatile instrument -- nicely done - I only wish it were in a room with a better acoustic.

@@ryanroberts8783 As do many other organists who serve in carpeted sanctuaries with fabric-padded seats ... :-| At least the digital (shudder ... ) instruments can add some reverb -- sometimes it's good enough to be "helpful"

The acoustic of the room isn’t audible from the organ loft, but it exists. It’s enough to soften the blow of the organ. Dr. Cook gave it a good clap test for us and it was probably around 1 second.

Really should have waited for someone to come, and ask if you can play them. You're like a little kid just messing around. Don't get me wrong I love you're organ playing but just out of respect. That's just how I was brought up.

I’m confused, Dr. Cook gave me the tour. He let me play the organs. You see and hear him talking, no?
