I would keep any baby clothes until you're sure that you won't have anymore. Until then, it would be a good idea to pick out special baby clothes that are too precious for memory keepsake and put them along with special memory boxes.

I don’t know why I never thought about what happens to all the stuff you store in the loft if you do a loft conversion! It seems obvious now that you need to find a new home for everything but it never crossed my mind before 😅 Thanks for showing the reality of extending into the loft!

I’d keep the clothes or loan to friends. Babies grow at very different rates - my boy was in 9 months clothes at 5 mos. whereas a friends kid was still in 9 months clothes at a year.

I would keep hold of clothes that are not the right season in case you have a baby that is bigger or smaller than average. My daughter is 18 months now and still wearing 9-12 clothes because she’s so dinky and always has been so the clothes that I thought were the right season ended up fitting months later!

Hey Lily, I can’t remember will the loft be a spare room / office or your and Rich’s bedroom?
@lilypebbles
3 жыл бұрын
It’ll be an office and spare room. We were thinking that one day we might move our bedroom up there when kids are older but actually now I know the ceiling height, I don’t think we will.
@ritazemgulyte3903
3 жыл бұрын
@@lilypebbles our neighbors did their loft and actually lowered the ceiling of the floor below the attic to make more space/height for the attic room. Their rooms were def lower then yours but I assume that would mean you have to break down the top part of your wardrobes in your bedroom and in general it would be much more work and take longer which is maybe something you don’t want at this time. Thought I’ll share it since it wasn’t something I realized myself possible.
