It is NOT a Seiko made watch; it is made in house by orient as are ALL Orient mechanical watches.

Hey quick question….. Ive owned the pepsi version of this watch before. On the case back it had the “AIR DIVER” written on the caseback. But now i own the all blue version, an the AIR DIVER is not there. It just says divers watch 200 meters. Does your watch say AIR DIVER on the caseback?. Just weird…

Great video. I have the same watch and it has the same issue with the rotating bezel, very soft, however, it does not move as with some others diver's watches that I had, that could be because the bezel gets thinner toward the top of the watch, other than that, it is an amazing watch that works perfectly fine, very well built, and fits well even in a small wrist.

I ended up popping the bezel off and bending the spring a little to add more resistance, feels much better now. Has more premium feel, harder clicks.

Yes, this is great watch. Really a great value for the money, I can see this one becoming a cult classic years down road once they are gone.

The marine master and the Orient star diver are not cousins. They have different movements. The movement is everything. And the narrators insistence of these to watch is being cousins only highlights his ignorance

yes they have different mov't, never said otherwise. My comparison of seiko vs orient, calling them cousin simple speaks to both operating under the seiko ownership. Seiko MM300 vs MM200 have completely different movements too, but fair to say they are both seikos still. "In 2009, Seiko Epson made Orient Watch into a wholly-owned subsidiary. Then, to manifest further synergy, Orient Watch was merged into Seiko Epson in 2017".

@@RandoRaf Your comparison is incorrect. the relationship to a separate entity (holding company) has absolutely nothing to do with the origins of their mechanisms or the provenance of their technical plans.

@@RandoRaf if you want to say that these two designs are related, show me some evidence. Show me a design tree. But don’t go making ridiculous statements To describe associations in your own head that don’t apply in the real world

For me the best dive watch from oriente is the old one Triton. I have it on my collection :). Dont like the hands and indices on this new orient.

Triton was my 1st Orient and agree awesome watch. This one I feel is just slight step up in quality. But can't go wrong with either.
