i’ve been watching your content for a very long time now, but kinda stopped doing origami and watching videos the last couple years. Hearing your intro song made me so happy and miss a time in my life when i’d find time for origami. i’m really glad you’re still doing the same great videos :)

i just made this, it turned out so lovely! had the paper tear here and there as i figured out how to correctly fold it, was a bit of a challenge, but i’m glad i pushed along and made it! it’s so pretty! would you consider a tutorial for a moon (preferably a crescent moon) to go along with this? they would look fantastic together

Hey! Been a while since I talked to you. Anyway, I've just folded it (last steps) this is one of my favorite models! It's so clean! (as in, the folds are very precise and there's not too much of lumps :D) I don't know why I said the proportions looked off before, this actually looks great! I also made your flapping wing heart out of my 2nd last red piece of paper, that was really good and worth it!

@@jonakashima OK, I think because I provided a link to a copy of my diagram of this model from the book that it blocks it. So, yes, I have this book, and the front and back of the model both look identical to what you show here. The folding method is *very* different from what I can make out. The Engel method is, understandably, very old-fashioned and, as a consequence, unnecessarily difficult. I only make the observation that the models are the same, no accusation. The history of origami is full of examples of multiple creators discovering the same model, especially with simple geometric models, such as this. If there Is a way to share the diagram with you for reference purposes only, I'm happy to do so, but my attempts to do so here have all led to the comment being deleted. Thank you for all the great content, and best wishes.
