Hi Zeek, Amazing and really helpful video, as always! You mentioned having a power bank for an afternoon of shooting - definitely a game changer. I've shot with a 5D Mark II and a 5D Mark IV for many years and usually get a full, several hour shoot from a battery with a full charge. I was shocked at how fast the battery drains on the EOS M and M50. A dummy battery ($21 USD, Mobile Power Bank Charger), Anker PowerCore 10000 ($25 USD), and a Smallrig Power Bank Holder ($30 USD) gives me essentially all day power at a cost of around $80 USD. Love the freedom and reliability this gives. I can't tell you how many big and small ideas and techniques I've picked up from your videos over the past several months. Huge thanks! Cheers, mate.

The 22 was my first lens for the EOS M and for video it's very good on a tripod (or gimbal maybe) - handheld not so much (except for photos with faster shutter speeds)... such a shame that Canon didn't include IS with this lens, which would have made it absolutely fantastic! My lens came as a package with the used EOS M and was not much more than the camera itself, so I've been contemplating to sell it and get another lens with IS, maybe the 10-18 EF-S and mod it myself!? ;) I'd still like to have a fast lens I can use at night, but that would be likely tripod only work and could be fully manual... any suggestions? :)

I like the Canon 17-55 IS a lot, my favourite for sure! The canon 18-135mm STM is nice as well as the Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 OS. For a fully manual lens for night time, you could consider the TTArtisans 17mm f1.4 or 7Artisans 35mm f1.4.
@TheCruisinCrew

@@ZeekEOSZ Thanks Zeek, the 17-55 is definitely a future add to my arsenal. I think I want to stay away from EF-M mount lenses, just in case I ever want to upgrade or sidegrade, as EF-M lenses will not be adaptable and Canon is jumping ship on the system anyway. But EF (or the modded EF-S lenses) can use adapters / speedboosters and I like to future proof my investments.... there is a Sigma AF 30mm f1.4 EF that might fit the bill (and my budget) for night shots, what do you think? :)

Hi zeek can you tell me how is the dynamic range in raw mode? Stops.
@ZeekEOSZ

The Dynamic Range is actually quite good. Feels to be about 11.5-12 Stops. I know for RAaw Photos it's rated about 11.2

@@ZeekEOSZ how do you compare it to blackmagic cameras quality? Thanks
@ZeekEOSZ
3 жыл бұрын
@@adrianbalan4436 Very similar actually apart from resolution. The Pocket 6K can obviously record for a long while and is more stable. But if you know how to play the EOS M to it's strengths, it can deliver in most cases remarkable footage. The Pocket 6K is very good with BRAW. Best camera around it's price point.

Hi! Can we update the eos m 2.0.3 to the 2.0.2? I cant find it anywhere. Thanks.
Sir! How to make eos m as webcam for zoom or gmeet?

I wouldn't recommend honestly. Lower resolution output than 1080.

I had a 22mm f/2 that I bought used for $169 but then recently Canon had a sale for $150 so I bought a new one for $19 less than my used one. The used one will be sold.

How to use rack focus? I can't use it on 15-45mm.

Set your camera to MF not AF in the Menu

@@ZeekEOSZ it requires the AF on, if not it can't be set. I've tried with af+mf as well, the result was same. My Auto-Focus works well.

@@jenchieri8353 Do you mean rack focus in ML Menu? If so, it most likely needs development. I'll look into it as I've never used it.

@@ZeekEOSZ yes, I do. I've watched few tutorials about it that uploaded a few years ago.
