Love my original PK, use mostly as a smoker... I just did a whole 13lbs brisket on the weekend, used the cookmore elevated grid with a foil tray and foil under as a heat diverter, done in 11 hours at 225-250 and was killer....

Thanks for posting this. I did not know they had a taller stand. I’m 6’ 1 and would definitely need it. I have been thinking about getting one of these for years now.

Yeah its right at the Kettle height, maybe an inch shorter. It just looks really short because its on a cart. Thanks for watching brother.

I noticed the grill grates doesnt sit flush, when you go to clean the channels or the top surface of the grill grates, does it slide back and forth? Sometimes tough food residue can stick to cook surface and you got to put force in to clean.

Nice review! We love ours and it's the best grill I've ever owned. Also brofist on the Volt plugged in in the background. We have a Bolt!

Nice, but you should have gone for the silver instead of black. My grandfather had one of the original PK grills from the late 50’s. I own one that’s about 15 years old. I won’t own anything else. 🇺🇸🗽🦅

Should i be worried about the cast aluminum being seeped into the food at high temps?

These things have been around since the 50’s. Never heard of a problem. I am not worried.

What components are made in USA besides the cast aluminum lid and base?
@TheHollarBBQ
4 жыл бұрын
That’s basically all this grill is. Only things left are the charcoal and grill grates and what ever stand you want. Not sure about those components if they are made in U.S.

@TheHollarBBQ

Charles Jackson III it can you just have to get creative how you put them in. Either cut in half or elevate them with another rack. Thanks for watching.
@AlpineWarren
5 жыл бұрын
Yeah if they would have made this about 4" deeper you could have done 3 full racks easy... But you have to cut them in half so 1.5 racks max. :(
